Now in its eighth year, Healthcare Design’s annual Rising Stars awards program has celebrated dozens of emerging professionals who have demonstrated a commitment to the healthcare design industry and are making meaningful contributions to the sector. With the announcement of the 2025 Rising Stars honorees, seven more are added to the prestigious class.
The 2025 Rising Stars are:
- Kierstyn Feldlavy, associate, architect and medical planner, SmithGroup
- Nathan Jeffries, project manager, Skanska
- Renee Lawrence, medical planner, architect, Boulder Associates
- Carole Ann Morris, senior associate, project interior designer, Page
- Emily Murrow, architect, HKS
- Jay Patel, associate, TVS
- Liyang Zhang, architect, Shepley Bulfinch
Each year, Healthcare Design’s editors review dozens of nominations to determine the winners. Rising Star honorees have worked in healthcare design for fewer than 10 years and have a body of work over the past two years that collectively sets them apart from their peers.
The 2025 Rising Stars will be profiled in the October issue of Healthcare Design magazine and celebrated on stage during an Awards Luncheon at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo (Oct. 25-28 in Kansas City, Mo.).
