Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a division of Lifepoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.), and partners UW Health (Madison, Wis.) and UnityPoint Health – Meriter (Madison, Wis.) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Fitchburg, Wis., according to a news release.
The freestanding, 58,000-square-foot hospital will house 40 private rooms. Services will include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology services for adults recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disease, and brain or spinal cord injury.
