Not-for-profit hospital network FirstHealth of the Carolinas (Pinehurst, N.C.) plans to build a replacement hospital in Troy, N.C., according to the Montgomery Herald.
The plans, approved by the hospital network’s board of directors, entail a new 45,000-square-foot hospital with nine inpatient beds, 10 emergency department (ED) bays, a procedure room, and observation space.
The new facility will replace the FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital.
