Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala., held a topping-out ceremony to mark the placement of the final vertical steel support beam for the new Madison Street Tower, according to 265today.com.
The $150 million, 154,000-square-foot addition will house 120 patient, a neuro intensive care unit for neurological and stroke patients, cardiothoracic intensive care unit, three floors of acute medical space, and an updated emergency department entrance.
The project team includes Chapman Sisson Architects (architect; Huntsville) and Robins & Morton (general contractor; Huntsville).
