Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley, S.C., is set to open a new pediatric unit as part of a collaboration between Roper St. Francis Health Care (Charleston, S.C.) and MUSC Children’s Health (Charleston, S.C.), according to abc4news.com.
The 10,000-square-foot pediatric unit will house 16 private rooms for low-acuity patients requiring shorter hospital stays, as well as a 1,000-square-foot playroom.
