Healthcare Design is accepting entries for its 2026 Breaking Through conceptual design competition. The deadline to enter is Feb. 4, 2026.
Celebrating imagination and innovation, this program invites participants to forget the usual project rules and deliver inspiring concepts and ideas for how to solve the challenges expected in the future delivery of healthcare.
Individuals or teams who enter the competition will be required to submit written proposals outlining their concepts by March 6, 2026. For more details and to enter the 2026 competition, go here.
Entries will be judged in three phases, culminating in live presentations at the 2026 Healthcare Design Conference & Expo, to be held Oct. 17-20 in New Orleans, where attendees will choose a winner.
The winner will receive $10,000 and be featured in Healthcare Design magazine along with the other finalists.
