WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Opens New Cardiac And Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center In South Charleston, West Virginia

The 9,000-square-foot facility includes two gyms and space for occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults and children.

West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine Thomas Hospitals (South Charleston, W.Va.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center in South Charleston, W.Va., according to the Charleston Gazette-Mail.

The 9,000-square-foot facility relocates speech, physical, and occupational therapy services previously offered at WVU Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston. Cardiac and pulmonary rehab have been added for patients recovering from heart and lung conditions.

Amenities include two gyms, which are also open to staff. Pediatric occupational, speech, and physical therapy are offered in dedicated spaces within the new facility.
