Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is set to open a new 9-story patient tower, called the “Yellow Tower,” in Marietta, Ga., according to wsbtv.com.
The Yellow Tower expansion targets reduced wait times by adding 151 acute-care beds, including intensive care units (ICU), neonatal intensive care units (NICU), and specialized neuro and cardiac units.
The facility is expected to open in stages this spring.
