WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital has begun site preparation for a new $35 million cancer center in Princeton, W.Va., according to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
A former hospital laundry facility was demolished to make way for the project, which will comprise a new 45,500-square-foot, 2-story building. The center will house infusion, radiation oncology, and other cancer-related specialty care.
The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
