MidHudson Regional Hospital Completes Behavioral Health Unit Expansion In Poughkeepsie, New York

The project added 20 beds dedicated to behavioral health and updated patient rooms and common areas.

MidHudson Regional Hospital has completed an expansion and renovation of its behavioral health unit in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., according to a news release.

The project increases the number of behavioral health beds from 40 to 60 at the hospital, which is part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth; Valhalla, N.Y.).

Additionally, patient rooms and common areas are updated with modernized finishes and increased access to natural light. A new patient comfort room and additional group activity and therapy space are also added.
