UNC Health Plans New Hospital In Wilmington, North Carolina

University of North Carolina Health (UNC Health; Chapel Hill, N.C.) plans to build a new hospital on a 62-acre site in Wilmington, N.C., according to a news release.

The facility will provide emergency care as well as cardiology, oncology, obstetrics, and gynecology services.

The health system is targeting a 2030 opening.
