Aspirus Health (Wausau, Wis.) has started construction on a multiphase expansion project at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wis., according to a news release.
The project comprises 48 intermediate care beds, a 16-bed observation unit, expanded surgical facilities, and redesigned specialized care units.
Construction is expected to continue through 2028.
