Healthcare Design Announces Agenda For 2026 HCD Forum

Healthcare Design has announced the agenda for the 2026 HCD Forum, to be held June 24-26 at The Mills House in Charleston, S.C.

The invitation-only event is currently accepting invitation requests and is geared toward high-level professionals actively involved in the design and planning of healthcare facilities, such as architects, interior designers, hospital administrators, facility managers, engineers, and builders.

The three-day program offers a variety of keynote presentations, networking opportunities, and educational sessions, including:

  • “Rule of the Robots: How Artificial Intelligence Will Transform Everything,” presented by futurist and author Martin Ford.
  • “How to Play: A Workshop on Creativity,” presented by Cas Holman, author and founder of toy company Heroes Will Rise.
  • “Designing the AI Native Hospital,” with speakers Travis Laird, chief operating officer for hospital planning and operations at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas Austin; and Anthony Treu, principal at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

The event also includes the HCD 10 Awards Dinner honoring the 2026 winners of Healthcare Design magazine’s annual professional awards program.
