Advocate Health Care Breaks Ground On Replacement Advocate Trinity Hospital In Chicago

Advocate Health Care (Downer’s Grove, Ill.) has started construction on a replacement Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago, according to CBS News.

The $300 million project comprises a 5-story hospital on a 23-acre site approximately 3 miles from the existing Trinity Hospital. Plans for the hospital include 36 medical-surgical beds, an emergency department (ED) with 16 exam areas, and a four-bed intensive care unit (ICU).

Additionally, the design accommodates an eight-station observation unit, four-bay dialysis unit, three operating rooms, two gastrointestinal labs, a cardiac catheterization lab, and imaging department.

The new hospital is expected to open in summer 2029.
