Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Of Bangor Set To Open In Maine

MaineHealth (Portland, Maine) and Encompass Health (Birmingham, Ala.) are set to open Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bangor, Maine, this fall, according to wabi.tv.

The freestanding inpatient facility houses 50 beds for patients experiencing neurological disorders and complex orthopedic conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.

The project includes a 79,000-square-foot building estimated to cost $61 million and located on a 17.5-acre site, according to mainebiz.biz.
