Broward Health Reaches Construction Milestone On MOB In Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Plans call for an 8-story, 188,000-square-foot facility with 129 exam rooms and a 700-space parking garage.

Broward Health (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) has reached a construction milestone on a new medical office building (MOB) adjacent to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., according to southfloridahospitalnews.com.

Concrete is being poured for an 8-story, 188,000-square-foot MOB housing 129 exam rooms, as well as a 7-story parking garage with 700 spaces. Planned specialties include primary care, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastroenterology, and women’s health services.

The project is designed by The Beck Group (Dallas) in collaboration with DMZ Architects (Haddon Township, N.J.). Robins & Morton (Tampa, Fla.) is serving as general contractor.
