UCHealth Adds 5-Story Tower At Highlands Ranch Hospital In Colorado

The project delivers a new cancer center, 14-bed ED, and expanded stroke and cardiac services.

UCHealth (Aurora, Colo.) has completed construction on a new 5-story tower at Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, Colo., according to a news release.

The 194,000-square-foot tower houses a cancer center, 14 emergency department (ED) beds, and expanded stroke and cardiac services.

Layton Construction (Salt Lake City, Utah) is the general contractor on the project.

The new tower is part of an expansion project being completed in phases, which also includes adding 31,687 square feet of shell space on the top floor of the existing hospital, as well as construction of a new medical office building (MOB), according to a UCHealth news release announcing the project.
