Healthcare Design is now accepting entries for the 2026 Nightingale Awards, which honor innovative product designs that contribute to healing within healthcare environments. The deadline to enter is Sept. 28.
The annual Nightingale Awards are open to registered exhibitors at the 2026 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, to be held Oct. 17-20 in New Orleans.
2026 Nightingale Awards eligibility and judging
To be eligible, products must have been introduced to the U.S. market after Oct. 1, 2025, and must not have been entered into the competition previously.
Jurors will evaluate product entries in the expo hall during the 2026 HCD Conference + Expo and choose winners in 22 categories, including textiles, flooring, lighting, seating, and wayfinding.
Each category can have Gold, Silver, Innovation, and Sustainability award winners. One product will earn the top Best of Competition honor.
Nightingale Awards recognition
The competition results will be announced live at the 2026 HCD Conference + Expo. Winning products will also be featured in the January/February 2027 issue of Healthcare Design magazine.
