St. Mary’s Health Care System (Athens, Ga.) has started construction on a new $35 million Center for Heart, Vascular & Neurosciences at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, according to a news release.
The 15,000-square-foot addition will feature 4D CT imaging, expanded rapid-response stroke services, and an electrophysiology lab for the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
The project is expected to be completed in fall 2027.
