Intermountain Health (Salt Lake City) is planning to build a replacement LDS Hospital in downtown Salt Lake City, according to a news release.
The new campus will include a 10-story, 521,000-square-foot hospital and an attached 7-story medical office building (MOB) on an 8-acre site with a public plaza. The facility will anchor a multiuse development.
The hospital will house a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), full-service emergency department (ED), behavioral health access center, and ambulatory surgery center. Services will include endoscopy, pharmacy, lab, dialysis, orthopedic, neurology, cardiology, pulmonary, and rehabilitation.
