$252M St. Luke’s Heart Hospital Opens In Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania

The 355,000-square-foot facility is the largest construction project ever for St. Luke’s University Health Network.

St. Luke’s University Health Network (Stroudsburg, Pa.) has opened the $252 million St. Luke’s Heart Hospital in Bethlehem Township, Pa., according to wrnjradio.com.

The 355,000-square-foot facility adds 140 beds to the health provider’s Anderson Campus, nearly doubling inpatient capacity. It represents the largest construction project ever for St. Luke’s University Health Network, according to the news release.

Additionally, the new hospital has four dedicated heart operating rooms (ORs), a hybrid OR, cardiac intensive care unit, and 10 advanced interventional suites for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology.
