Parkland Medical Center (Derry, N.H.), part of HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.), has started construction on a freestanding emergency department (ED) in Salem, N.H., according to a news release.
The $15 million project is expected to deliver 12 private patient rooms, a trauma bay, a lab, and on-site imaging.
