Huntsville Hospital Health System (HH Health; Huntsville, Ala.) has started construction on a new freestanding emergency department (ED) in Hampton Cove, Ala., according to hvilleblast.com.
The $30 million project is set to deliver an ED, imaging and lab departments, and a helipad.
HH Health recently broke ground on another freestanding ED in North Huntsville, Ala. Construction on both projects is expected to be completed in December 2027.
