Oviedo Medical Center Completed in Central Florida

The center expects to serve more than 35,000 patients in its first year.

Oviedo Medical Center, in Ovideo, Fla., is now complete. The $109 million project includes a 64-bed hospital, 22-bed emergency department and an adjacent medical office building.

In addition to 24/7 emergency care, hospital services include medical and surgical inpatient units, intensive care, medical cardiology, telemetry, cardiac catheterization, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women’s services including labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary services, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and physical, occupational and speech therapy.

The facility, designed by Nashville-based Gould Turner Group, is expected to serve more than 35,000 patients in its first year.
