Construction on a new Integrated Critical Care Unit to be built at Walsall Manor Hospital, located in Walsall, West Midlands, England, is set to start in May.
The £10.6m unit will bring together the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) and the High Dependency Unit (HDU) within the former West Wing main entrance. It will create an 18-bedded unit, which is an increase of five beds, and completion is scheduled for winter 2018.
