Queensland Health Approves Weststate Private Hospital

The $55 million Weststate Private Hospital is slated to be built at the site of the former Townsville West State School in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia.

According to “Townsville Bulletin,” Queensland Health has given approval for the $55 million Weststate Private Hospital to be built at the site of the former Townsville West State School in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. The hospital is slated to hold up to 40 hospital beds, four operating theaters and a cath lab. Development approvals from Townsville City Council are still needed. If approved, the hospital could open late 2018 or early 2019.
