The MetroHealth System in Cleveland has selected Turner Construction Co. to lead construction management of The MetroHealth System’s campus transformation project.

MetroHealth will build a 270- room hospital, a connector building to the existing Critical Care Pavilion, and a central utility plant. In addition, a new 1500-car parking garage is being built to replace the current Southpoint garage, which is the site of the future new hospital tower.

The project team includes Hammel, Green and Abrahamson Inc. (master architect and engineer), as well as four local partners. The companies will spend the next year in pre-construction planning.
