University at Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y., has completed Phase 2 of a $12 million, 13,500-square-foot dental clinic renovation project.

The School Of Dental Medicine‘s basement-level pre-clinical simulation center in Squire Hall features clustered workstations and integrated technology to encourage collaboration. The custom-designed workstations include digital dental teaching simulators and monitors to provide video access of the instructor. Floating ceilings, highly reflective surfaces, white stone counters, and an abundance of light brighten the basement spaces.

The project was constructed in two phases to keep the lab fully operational while increasing the number of workstations from 90 to 146.

BKP is currently in the programming/concept phase of renovating all the dental clinics on three levels of the building.
