Medical City Women’s Hospital Dallas recently expanded its 261,011-square-foot, 222-bed facility, which addresses women’s healthcare needs in a serene, luxurious setting. The five-story vertical expansion, completed in March 2018, brings a full-service children’s hospital and adult hospitals to the same campus—a first for the region.

The hospital offers VIP labor and delivery suites, which include amenities such as a separate room for family overnight stays, wall beds for spouses and partners, upscale linens, and views of the city skyline. Renovation of the existing labor and delivery/postpartum facility is scheduled for completion in early 2019.

Perkins+Will was the architecture and interior design firm on the project and Brasfield & Gorrie (Birmingham, Ala.) provided construction services.

The hospital’s multidisciplinary physicians staff addresses healthcare needs for women of all ages, including maternity, gynecology, cancer care, and more.
