NCH Healthcare System recently celebrated the opening of a new freestanding emergency department in Naples, Fla.
Designed by Studio+, the 41,000-square-foot, $34 million facility features the ED on the first floor supported by its own dedicated imaging and scanning equipment, along with a fully equipped onsite outpatient imaging center.
The second floor, opening soon, will house an outpatient surgery center which will be equipped with two operating rooms complete with a sterile processing department. In addition, there is a new outpatient physicians group practice and doctor’s offices to support the local community.
