Atlantic Health System has opened a newly-built supply station in Newton, N.J. The new building will serve as the northern station of Atlantic Mobile Health, its transportation division, as well as AtHome Medical, which provides in-home medical equipment and supplies. The new building gives Atlantic Health System its own facility for both services. The 12,000-square-foot structure cost approximately $2.8 million to build, with construction performed by Beacon Construction Services. The new station features three large vehicle bays which can house up to 12 ambulances. Atlantic Mobile Health plans to station six ambulances, two wheelchair vans, and two Atlantic Health Couriers at the facility.
