Ceremonial shovels recently broke ground for the new Utica Medical Center, Utica, N.Y., a 373-bed, 672,000-square-foot, nine-story building and parking garage on 25 acres. As reported by WBIX reporter Jim Rondenelli, The Mohawk Valley Health System’s new regional medical center is designed to continue the redevelopment and resurgence of the downtown area. According to Rondenelli, the hospital is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2022.
