The Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Ariz., is being planned as a possible alternative care site for low-acuity COVID-19 patients, should Arizona hospitals run out of room, according to an article from News 4 Tucson.

The project would allow for up to 250 beds.

The convention center was previously used to house Hurricane Katrina evacuees in 2005.
