Mount Sinai Health System Plans Cancer Center And Hospital In New York

Mount Sinai Health System (New York) is building a new cancer center and hospital in Manhattan, N.Y., supported by a $60 million gift from James S. and Merryl H. Tisch.

The Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center will include the four-story Tisch Cancer Hospital, which will house approximately 20 private patient rooms on each floor; The Tisch Cancer Institute at Icahn Mount Sinai; several Cancer Centers of Excellence; and a network of ambulatory cancer care facilities.
