3 Projects In Works For Spectrum Health

The Michigan projects will include an ambulatory care facility, rural health clinic, and primary care clinic.

Healthcare system Spectrum Health (Grand Rapids, Mich.) is planning to increase its footprint in Michigan by adding three new facilities, according to an article in woodtv.com.

The projects, totaling $151 million, include:

  • An 11-story, 240,000-square-foot ambulatory care facility slated to open in spring 2024 in Grand Rapids. It will include outpatient services such as primary care, heart, vascular, and neuroscience as well as a simulation center.
  • A 15,800-square-foot rural health clinic in Lakeview, Mich., which will consolidate family primary care, a walk-in clinic, and outpatient rehabilitation in one place. The opening is scheduled for spring 2023.
  • A 33,000-square-foot primary care clinic in Big Rapids, Mich., will include outpatient rehabilitation and occupational health as well as an urgent care. It is expected to open in 2023.
