UC San Diego Shiley Eye Institute Plans Renovation

The facility’s second floor will be converted to clinical space as part of the project.

The UC San Diego Shiley Eye Institute is renovating its facility in La Jolla, Calif.

The project will include converting the second floor into clinical space, as well as building, seismic, and infrastructure upgrades and an exterior architectural refresh.

The project team comprises TEF Design (architect and interior designer; San Francisco), Spurlock (landscape architect; San Diego), Nasland Engineering (civil engineer; San Diego), Degenkolb (structural engineer), and Dufoe Consulting Engineers (MEP/fire protection engineer; San Diego).
