Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Health, Wellness Village In The Works

The project will include a new hospital, clinical building, and healthcare-focused retail.

Northern Arizona Healthcare (Flagstaff, Ariz.) plans to build a health and wellness village on 188 acres in Flagstaff to serve area patients, the Navajo Nation, and rural areas of Northern Arizona, according to the website knau.org.

The $800 million proect will include a new hospital and adjacent offices and clinics for outpatient care. Twenty-two acres will be set aside as a nature reserve and linked to Flagstaff’s existing urban trail system. A Native American advisory council will be involved in the project plans.

Plans also call for healthcare-focused retail and restaurants, housing, and a hotel.
