City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center Opens In California

The 190,000-square-foot outpatient facility includes 67 exam and treatment rooms, a hair salon, and healing garden.

Cancer research and treatment organization City of Hope (Duarte, Calif.) opened the 190,000-square-foot City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine, Calif.

The outpatient facility offers multidisciplinary cancer services from prevention to surgery to survivorship as well as cancer-focused clinical trials.

The facility houses:

  • 67 exam and treatment rooms
  • 15 consultation rooms
  • an infusion center with 43 infusion bays and 10 private infusion treatment rooms
  • a retail and specialty pharmacy
  • compounding pharmacy
  • laboratory services.

Additionally, the center has a Hope Boutique, which offers a full-service salon and specialty shopping experience with oncology-trained cosmetologists; art galleries; a healing garden; and dedicated family areas.

Future plans call for an inpatient specialty cancer hospital to be built adjacent to the outpatient facility, with a scheduled opening in 2025.
