Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center (Johnstown, Pa.), part of Duke LifePoint Healthcare (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Conemaugh Health System (Johnstown), unveiled a $77 million cardiovascular and surgical care pavilion, in Johnstown, according to the website dailyamerican.com.
The 75,000-square-foot, three-story facility includes inpatient and outpatient surgery services, an ambulatory staging unit to facilitate patient transitions from pre-op to recovery, as well as an expanded central sterile department.
The facility also comprises pre- and post-procedure holding rooms, fluoroscopy and radiography rooms, a vascular lab, and cardiac diagnostic center.
