Rady Children’s Hospital On Track To Open $1.2 Billion Addition In 2028

The project consists of a 7-story tower that will house 140 ICU beds and four operating rooms.

Rady Children’s Hospital is on track to open a 7-story tower expansion to its San Diego campus in 2028, according to San Diego Magazine.

The new tower will house 140 intensive care unit (ICU) beds and four operating rooms, doubling the size of the emergency department (ED) and expanding the space dedicated to behavioral health services.
