The 2026 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo welcomes the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE) 29th World Congress to this year’s event, Oct. 17-20, in New Orleans. The co-location is in partnership with the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP) and brings together strategic and global leaders in healthcare engineering, real estate, planning, design, construction, and operations.
Attendees will have numerous opportunities to experience both events through a shared expo hall, keynote sessions, and networking. “This is an opportunity to attend a truly global event and build relationships with healthcare professionals from around the world,” says Jennifer Kovacs Silvis, vice president, health design group, and brand director of HCD. “The IFHE Pavilion in the expo hall will also bring a range of products and services targeted to facility management and engineering that will be accessible to HCD attendees. IFHE World Congress will bring an immersive conference program tackling pressing global issues, including capital planning under pressure, the rise of community-based care models, and the next generation of smart, resilient hospitals.
Meanwhile, the HCD Conference + Expo’s 100+ hours of educational sessions will tackle the healthcare design industry’s biggest challenges across a broad spectrum of topics from behavioral health to sustainability and technology.
