Lawrence Memorial Hospital (Walnut Ridge, Ark.) has started an expansion and renovation project in Walnut Ridge, according to an article in Kait 8.

The $3.9 million project will expand the emergency department (ED) to include an isolation suite and the primary care clinic to include four exam rooms, two of which will be negative pressure rooms. A new HVAC system is also planned.

Completion is slated for the end of this year.
