Ascension St. Vincent Plans $325M Expansion In Indianapolis

The project will relocate Ascension St. Vincent Women’s Hospital to the campus and add a new neurosurgical hospital.

Ascension St. Vincent (Indianapolis) is planning a $325 million expansion that will include an updated women’s hospital and a new neurosurgical hospital, according to an article in wthr.com.

The project will relocate Ascension St. Vincent Women’s Hospital (Indianapolis) to the main campus to create a new facility with 109 private neonatal intensive care unit rooms. The hospital will be connected to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital (Indianapolis).

The new brain and spine hospital will be a regional location for complex neurosurgical care and complement the existing Level 1 Trauma Center at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, as well as the pediatric neurosurgery program.

The expansion will also include a larger parking garage and parking lot.
