Atrium Health Union West Breaks Ground On $116M Patient Tower In Charlotte, North Carolina

Atrium Health (Charlotte, N.C.) has started construction on a new patient tower at Atrium Health Union West in Charlotte, according to a news release.

The $116 million, 67,000-square-foot project comprises 88 inpatient rooms, 11 emergency department (ED) bays, and new rooms for endoscopy and procedures.

DPR Construction (Durham, N.C.) is the general contractor on the project, which is expected to open in fall 2028.
