Christner Selects Succession Team, CEO To Retire

John Reeve will retire after 42 years with the company and transition his responsibilities to a three-person leadership team.

John Reeve, current president and CEO of Christner Inc. (Clayton, Mo.), will retire after 42 years with the company, effective March 30, 2018. He will redeem his remaining equity and transition his responsibilities to a three-person Office of the President.

The Office of the President will be comprised of Shanna Wiechel (managing principal, operations), Jeff Ryan (managing principal, design), and Stacey Wehe (managing principal, marketing).

Wiechel, chief operating officer, has served Christner for more than 15 years. Ryan, current director of design, has more than 20 years of experience, Wehe, education market leader, brings project management skills.

In addition to Wiechel, Ryan, and Wehe, Christner’s ownership group includes Dan Jay, David Kehm, Laurel Harrington and Tom Van Landingham. Dan Jay will continue to service his clients and will report to the Office of the President in his role as the firm’s chief financial officer.
