Cone Health (Greensboro, N.C.) has submitted a certificate of need (CON) with the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation for a new hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C., according to a news release.

The $320 million, 198,593-square-foot project comprises 56 acute care beds, an 18-bay emergency department (ED), four procedure rooms, 10 observation beds, an intensive care unit, on-site imaging, and a pharmacy.
