Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are building a new 688,100-square-foot freestanding cancer hospital for adults, according to bizjournals.com.

The new 300-bed facility will connect to Dana-Farber’s existing facility in Boston.

As part of the project, Dana-Farber plans to relocate 30 inpatient beds from a facility that it currently shares with Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
