Fanscy Family Hospital Construction Begins In Windsor, Ontario

The project consolidates and expands acute care services from two existing Windsor Regional Hospital campuses into a single facility.

The Government of Ontario (Toronto) has started construction on the new Fanscy Family Hospital in Windsor, Ontario, according to a news release.

The approximately 2-million-square-foot project consolidates and expands acute care services from two existing Windsor Regional Hospital campuses into a single facility. It also increases patient capacity by 100 beds, bringing the total to nearly 600 beds.

Additionally, the project adds a 24/7 emergency department (ED) and services including cancer care, trauma support, maternal and newborn care, surgical and critical care, neurology, and cardiology.
