Nonprofit healthcare organization Freeman Health System (Joplin, Mo.) opened Freeman Fort Scott hospital in Fort Scott, Kan., according to the website freemanhealth.com.
The facility houses 10 inpatient beds and a six-bed emergency department (ED). It’s located at the site of Fort Scott’s former hospital, which closed in 2018.
