Freestanding Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital Planned For Arkansas

Jefferson Regional Medical Center (Pine Bluff, Ark.) and Kindred Healthcare LLC (Louisville, Ky.) are planning a freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Pine Bluff that will include 40 rehabilitation beds and 36 behavioral health beds, according to an article in Arkansas Online.

The facility will include all-private rooms and provide orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation services, including treatment for stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and neurological disorders.

The behavioral unit will treat adults and seniors with mental health and substance use disorders.

The facility is expected to open in 2023.
